In pursuit of the tranquillity that comes with long exposure photography.

Melbourne based Thomas Kane is an international award winning Fine Art Photographer.  As an adviser to Governments and large corporations on dispute avoidance, mitigation and resolution, he witnessed the dark side of the construction industry and found welcome relief in the pursuit of the tranquillity that comes with long exposure photography.

Style

As a lover of minimalism, Thomas’ images often contain much less than the actual scene photographed.

Many photographers seek to record a moment in time. Fine Art photographers on the other hand, seek to create works of art.

When he identifies a scene that attracts him, he imagines the eventual artwork that will emerge from it.  The taking of the photograph is only the first step in the process.

As a lover of minimalism, Thomas’ images often contain much less than the actual scene photographed.
